Self-Directed Course (coming early 2024)
This 10-module self-directed course is drawn from Helen Wong Smith’s two-part virtual workshops presented as part of CoSA’s BACKER grant project in June 2022.
Each module will cover major themes relating to managing cross-cultural differences to help staff function with greater awareness, knowledge, and interpersonal skill when engaging people of different backgrounds, assumptions, beliefs, values, and behaviors.
A short instructional video accompanies each module. Modules also include readings/resources and a reflective activity.
Registrants will receive a letter or certificate upon successful completion of all modules.
